Posh yesterday was awesome, hello insane tower of meat (: Me&May are so nice, we scared Amanda when she was coming out of the washroom. Go us!
And being the awesome commerce student I am, I came up with this awesome idea to make May not late anymore. HELLO MONEY!

Sorry Amanda&Banana for falling asleep on you guys. But you know, sleep>everything.
Happy Halloween! Halloween sleepover with Amanda&May was awesome. Before Sleepover, we met up with Steven&Mike&Jeff, and I dragged them to Totem's CommonRoom while we waited for Amanda's dad to come pick us up. Helllo musical chairs, gyming, and random talk. Sleepover was filled with cooking, 爆料, and my dearest さすけ love. (: Although, May fell asleep before I could finish 爆料ing, we din't finish DPS&TaleOf2Sisters, and Amanda fell asleep while watching LastFriends. But it was the awesome company that made it all<3. We were late for YLM Meeting (Whats New). And off back home after, and omg. so many people were all dressed for halloween. So Cute!

Monday, Me&Amanda&Mona decided to crash Jason's place on Tuesday, just because. HAHA. Awesome study party, with awesome people. I love how natural it is to talk about them topics. I think my wardrobe's on the verge of bursting, but here I am, online shopping. HAHAHA.
So, I'm awesomely excited for frosh, and firstweek! F14,MarginPressure, SAUDER, and of course, the awesome friends I have.
So this year, I'll study way hard, work way hard, and ~~party like never before.~~ HAHA. I'm gonna get involved in SA's cos thats what I've always wanted, and I really love doing it.
So yes, stay true, stay stong, stay happy.
On a sidenote, I'm really scared of getting a burnout, to lose who I really am from the start, to lose faith in what I believe in, and to lose the direction I should go. I've been there, I know how hard it is during the struggle to find back who you are.
'Cos I rather be hated for who I am, instead of being loved for who I'm not.

I'm finally getting my pay tomorrow! Nday weekend was awesome, with fireworks, pledge moment, family and friends. We met up with UncleYong&Family,UncleBoonTian&Family, and UncleSeah. I love the feeling how I've known them for practically all of my life, and that even though we don't meet them very often, the moment we meet them is indescribable. EYong and KYong look fantastic, as usual.
PS, I rebonded my hair, and my initial red highlights changed to yellow. I love it.

One of the hardest moments in life is deciding whether you should give up, or try harder.

Now I know better. To choose friends more carefully, to look at other's intentions before agreeing, to watch what I speak. I seem to have grown up over the holidays, and I'll return quieter, more determined, and more matured. Throughout this holiday, there's this voice in my mind that keeps going, "Grow up, grow up."

As happens sometimes, a moment settled and hovered and remained for much more than a moment. And sound stopped and movement stopped for much, much more than a moment. Then gradually time awakened again and moved sluggishly on.

To say I have no regrets is an understatement. How does it feel when everything you have been wishing for came true, but it came too late. Just when you made up your mind to follow another path, just when you've decided, maybe, you're not meant for it. And then, it comes through. But nothing you do can go back on your decision. After all, it was my decision in the first place. Oh well, accept facts, move on with life. Damn, thats hard. Move on, Move on.

And losing your way on a journey is unfortunate.
But, losing your reason for the journey, is a fate more cruel.

Can we pick up the pieces, we seem to have drifted so far away. I couldn't find the words then, I couldn't find it now either. But, the reason then and now, is so vastly different. What went wrong? Two parallel lines, that go so inextricably interwined, and then seperated into two different exponential lines. Maybe they'll intersect later on, or maybe they'll move further away from each other. Inside I'm hoping the two lines will always intersect, and their lives will be so deeply interwined with each other.

As the date draws closer, I get more uneasy. I'm so thankful for my p6 class. Just one albeit very disgusting&ugly picture, but drew 30+ comments. They're the epitome of forever friends. We've seperated for nearly 6 years now, but yet we're still able to pick off from where we last left off.

Why is it that its so easy for you to start doubting me, to start accusing me of not working hard, and yet so hard for you to affirm what I have achieved so far. nat made my day yesterday. all because of him, i was high the entire day in school. sweet ass, i bet you haven't washed out your whipped cream eh. HAHA. please remember to carry the huge I LOVE ALINA banner to airport when I get back XD
school's been killer, especially since I've been sick the entire week, and being sick really sucks. No kidding. But plans for the future have been really rewarding, and I can't wait. But meanwhile, we're all stuck in the whole rat race, but then again, it'll end sooner than we realise.
So many of my friends are turning 18, and its gonnna be my turn in.... 6months time. OMG, where did all the time go to? I feel so old, orz.
Can't wait till weekends, I'm dying already. Sigh.

it's just not the same;
coming to study and staying for good are two very different situations.

when you come to study, you have in your mindset that you're here on an adventure or a getaway from your ordinary everyday life at the same time knowing with certainty that you belong in your original hometown where your life is generally built there and where friends and family still have you placed in their lives, with no doubt at all.
but when it's for good, you've come to a new different culture and you're forced to adapt to circumstances that seem so unreal with no choice because this is your new home where you're most probably going to start a whole new life here with almost no turning back but striving forward towards another tomorrow. people that were once in your life in your hometown start moving on with their own lives and you start living out your own.

you can never have the best of both worlds; that's the sad reality.

and so with the start of a new term, the whole rat race repeats itself all over again. Its only the 4th day of the new term, and yet I see myself staying up till 1+, waking up at 4 just to study. DAMN, i look so ugly with huge eyebags ): but then, seeing the Gold Scholar Award and scholarship+bursaries, all the hard work last year and now seemed to have paid off. 5 more months, hang in there! Had a super longggg chat with AllenChen on the phone last night. Woah 1hr++ talking about the most random-est stuff, and his school had a gun scare yesterday! So cool! HAHA, movie on sat with amandy&sammy, allenchen please go too! XD
bubble-teaed yesterday with meara&jenny&liyang&IVY. haha, was fun, despite waiting for nearly an hour for booth pictures with liyang and finally giving up, running ater 152 just so we won't have to wait ANOTHER 30mins for the bus.
and now, off to study.

Just the few of us, we sat on the driveway at night, looking up into the starry sky, with the streetlamps are out only source of lights except for random cars with glaring headlights that come into the estate. We ponder and reminisce about how we used to be, how we once were, how we've changed, how we miss our hometown and generally our lives in this sad reality. We start fantasizing and start setting up big dreams, but a slight hint at the back of our heads the doubt we could ever accomplish it. If only, we could have the best of both worlds, that'll make life almost too good to be true. What if, we were to continue living in our hometowns and never come out here, would things still remain the same or would it change much. But I believe that everything that has happened in my life, it's for a mystery higher plan & purpose, and so we're left with almost no other choice, but to live on faith.

Kathy's birthday was 2 days ago, and I had fun (: Sometimes, it feels like an impenetrable bubble, and everyone else is just the spectators viewing in from the sidelines. Then again, life's a stage, and everyone's merely actors/actresses, no? Thanks for the best drivers, J&M, despite making me wait out in the rain/cold, but yes. You're still awesome XD Saturday was entire YLM fun. Met up with Amanda at Metro for shopping before heading to Success for YLM Council Interview, and met up with the people that went for the interview too. I miss the whole YLM feel, and its really great to meet up with them. Hopefully, we'll all get into YLM Council, and then there's council orientation in mid-feb! XD Went to Alpha with Amanda to get our Secret Santa's presents from Mike, and I got a teddy bear! YAY, thankyou Eric(sp?!)! and, HAHA, we talked to coughAmanda'sExBfcough. He was really nice tho! Met up with May at Metro after and got bubbletea, sat down and talked and then headed home.

FriendshipRings seem to be on their way, and I can't wait to go back. Dates all around? (:

And in a blink of an eye, 6months have past.

From complete strangers all over the Lower Mainland, from WestVan all the way to Coquitlam/Surrey, to where we are now, friends that have been through so many events together, bonded together, to make a difference in each other's lives.

Who would know how 6months would make such a huge difference in us. We've learnt cooperation, tolerance, communication, teamwork, self-confidence, leadership and most importantly, gained valuable life lessons and friendships.

And yes, I❤❤❤ALL OF YOU, cos YLM will always have a special place in my ❤

Just looking at our gradvideo makes me want to rewind time and experience YLM all over again.

I'm sorry that I deliberately not tell you some stuff and change the topic. But don't you realise, how hard it is to say whats wrong. Its so hard to open up, when all your life, you've been closing yourself in.
